Been so busy lately my head’s spinning. Work is taking off left, right and centre with some E-Secretary work coming in and a couple of Tarot Readings too. Happy me.
Was also very fortunate to attend a wonderful evening with the delightful Barbara Carrellas in London, held at the fabulous Sacred Pleasures. Not an evening I’ll forget in a hurry, and I very much look forward to spending more time with her in September on her course.
That said, I’m absolutely thrilled to be going away for the weekend to revisit the place we as a (leather) family go to every year for our holiday together, have done for years… sadly they’re closing. Good news for the proprietor, she’s off to a new life abroad, but sad news for us as we’ve held it as quite the family tradition for several years now. The Edge, in Devon, a place of magic and wonder, beautiful beach, magical cottage and… well, some other somewhat adult facilities we appreciate.
So I’ll be back after the weekend folks, be good to each other while I’m gone!
The following slideshow contains a selection of pictures from recent days.
My father and me, one from many years ago and one from last year; to celebrate Father’s day in the UK on Sunday. My wyfe1 Rachel‘s dog Tricksy, renowned for believing she’s actually a meerkat. A table full of happy people, dining together after the stunning Raven Kaldera workshop we attended and helped out holding space for. Cute shot of myself and Rachel at the Poetry Festival I spoke of in the last entry, cold and red faced but happy eating chips in the car by the sea. My step-grandparent’s gravestone; each year on Gran’s birthday (today) I make a trip with cleaning tools and flowers, scrub down the headstone to make it shiny again and leave flowers and love. I was very fortunate to attend a Badger watch event last night, this was my favourite shot from the evening; amazing to be so close! My step-daughter Liane’s beautiful daughter Coco, brand new granddaughter only a week old today! My step-daughter Katie’s beautiful daughter Bethany, a year old and smiley. Me proud with Coco. My oldest school friend Lexi’s husband Jamie’s headstone, I attended the internment ceremony with her on Wednesday, beautiful but sad.
