~chuckles~ at this rate it looks like my batting average is one post a month! Ah well, never mind it’s better than none.
September is a vast improvement on the past couple of months. Things are really, finally moving in the right direction. E-Secretaries is finally taking shape, work coming in (dribs and drabs still but increasing slowly) and DKTarot is still happily taking good care of me. I’ve had some amazing experiences with reading Tarot professionally, some would make your hair stand on end! So much marvellous feedback, I’m really glad I chose to pursue it as it seems to be helping a lot of people. Of course the psychotherapy, life coaching, NLP, hypnotherapy all comes into play alongside the spirituality of the readings, and simply helps me help the client more. I love it.
Personally, most of the ghastly trauma of the past few months is thankfully over, things are recovering happily and positively.
I’ve sorted out most of the upstairs now, including setting up a desk in the 2nd spare bedroom, now known affectionately as my office! It’s great to be able to separate work and home at last. It’s also grand to have a (apparently quite big?!) clear bedroom again, huzzah.
The birthday weeks this year (mine, Rachel’s and Luisa’s) were all really smashing, lots of lovely visits, visitors and days out… some really good healthy healing time for us all and some super gifts too. I’ll pop some piccies up at the end of the post.
I’m off next Thursday on a five day Barbara Carrellas (Tantric practitioner) workshop in London, which I’m excited about. I’ll be staying over with lovely friends Rebecca Lowrie and Todd, which I’m equally thrilled about! All good fun.
Even more exciting (if possible!) is that tonight I start back at ‘school’ on Thursday evenings to finish qualifying at level 4 Advanced Psychotherapy. This I’m really truly very happy about. Woot! I know, I’m weird, so sue me 😉
The last week of September we’re off on holiday to Hustyns in Cornwall for five days, an amazing gift from some truly precious friends/chosen family. Then on the last weekend of September I’m attending a Shamanic Glass workshop (my second, it’s fabulous, if you’re interested don’t miss it!) with the treasure that is (also coincidentally the head of my Shamanic Circle) Taz Thornton.
October doesn’t see things slowing down at all. Firstly my Shamanic Circle has a drumming meet on the 8th, then Lu and I are off to Spain to see my fabulous brother Ben (who owns the Zoo Lounge bar in Puerto Banus) from 12th to 24th (whoop) and then Lu’s beautiful niece Dani is visiting us here in the UK from 25th to 10th November. My son Tony and daughter Lina are also whizzing off to an Anime Convention in October in London… scary biscuits!
So… busy much? Did I mention I LOVE my life? 🙂
Time for some pictures then. First is a fun shoot of Myself, Lu, Rowan, John and Sandy. Then a fun in-car shot of my daughter Kirsty, Kerry and Kyle along with myself and Lina on our day trip out, my birthday gift day out from them to to West Midlands Safari Park! Smiley shot of Rachel and I having tea on my birthday trip to Scarborough, followed by one I really like she took of me on the beach (hat and scarf). Then were was my super birthday meal, me in a blue tie holding the amazing diabetic cupcakes birthday cake clever Kirsty made for me! One of Lu and I on her birthday, laughing in the sunshine. Visitors Ed (and I) and Katy (and I) on the next two. Finally smashing shot of Aimee and then me, on Stanedge Rocks… she took me on the most amazing, fabulous, killer walk for a whole day, and it was brilliant!
Hope you enjoyed the catch up, I’ll try not to leave it so long next time… but at least you get a packed entry when I do! 🙂 Love to all
